LANDSCAPES COLLECTION

The Landscapes collection consists of semi-abstract, dream-like landscapes in colorful colors. Often there are details on the paintings in the form of boats, hot air balloons, animals or buildings. Background: The collection was created in the spring of 2024 during the healing process after extensive neck surgery. Somewhere between the brushstrokes, loads of rehab sessions and Taylor Swift's old album on repeat, hope for life began to return after so many years of darkness, pain and struggle. I painted at the pace my body could handle, sometimes crashed, took two steps back, cried, healed, accepted and began to navigate a new everyday life with new conditions. Layer upon layer of color explosions gave life to the canvases and as I began to live again, the paintings came - one by one. This collection stands for strength and hope. I dedicate this collection to all of us who go through the gray, the difficult, the mossy, sorrows and struggles. It is dedicated to everyone who needs a little light and hope, who refuses to give up. I hope you find strength. With love, /L
